I am thinking of the wonderful memories I have of a fine man. I remember coming back from overseas. Mr. Elkins shock hands and said something to the effect of "hearing I had become a Christian. I saw him at my wedding and at my mother's funeral. I am saddened by his passing. We walk the path of life. A light unto may path, a lamp unto my feet. Mr. Elkins showed many other men the right path to take in life. He always had a caring ear. Thank you for the lessons. Schuyler County has lost a truly fine man. Thank you for your service... JJC+
We are thinking of you during this difficult time. May your many wonderful memories help you through your sadness. Uncle Bill lived a long and full life- you were all incredibly blessed. In Loving Sympathy, Courtney (Elkins) and family.
I cannot begin to put into words my sorrow and grief, yet joy too, as I know Uncle Bill is finally home, with dad and grandma and grandpa. Uncle Bill and Aunt Irene meant the world to me, and words cannot express how thankful we all were when they travelled to stay with daddy, twice if I remember correctly. I keep you all in prayer and hope that you find peace in your journey-the peace that surpasses all understanding. All of my love, Michele. I would be forever grateful if someone from our family would reach out when all is calm. I think family is God's greatest gift. Bill was an incredibly kind and generous man. Again, our love in Christ.
