Condolences
Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the family. Knew Bill for a long while and he surely liked playing cards and was never a dull moment with him around. So much fun w/ my parents. Was a very hard worker and always keeping his land up to par. He will be missed by so many and will remain in our thoughts.
Sincerely,
Jean & Vicki
The Finger Lakes lost a great man. My condolences go out to Bill's family. I'll never forget Bill's laugh and big smile on the Christmas tree farm. I have many fond memories of him with my grandfather George, and he was always eager to talk about horses with me. He even came to one of my horse shows one time! He was a great man and will certainly be missed.
I so enjoyed visiting with him when I saw him. He was great fun to be with
Very sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. I always enjoyed visiting him, Aunt Emily and boys at the farm along Seneca Lake as kids - always a highlight of the summer. Years later we stopped on our way upstate and had some of his homemade wine, sitting around the pool! When our son was looking at colleges, we visited them (and John and family) and Uncle Bill showed him his woodworking shop, which he really enjoyed. Condolences and best regards to Bill, John, and family.
My deepest sympathy for Bill's Family. I knew Him most of my life and admired him very much. Heaven has gained a great man.
Hello, I know you do not know who I am but I am writing as a concern for families in the area. I have been sharing with people an encouraging thought from the Bible found at Revelation 21:4 ," 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I hope that you and your family can find comfort in the promise for the future.
We send our condolences to Bill's family. We will miss Bill dearly as he was a great man, a caring friend and a gifted Finger Lakes farmer. He taught us a great deal about farming, woodworking and friendship. His memory lives on through the life of the noble livestock guardian dog, Billy Buttonwood.
