My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. You and John were always so friendly and outgoing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
You know he will be missed. Will think of him often when playing with our little chihuahua "Jake" that John and Bev gave us.
John, Jake from State Farm, was a great friend, trivia player, domino expert, he always won, and a great all around guy. He was a true gentleman and a great husband to Bev. I hope they play dominoes in heaven or get a heavenly trivia going.
John was a great guy. We will miss his conversations at the pool. He will be missed at SKV. By everyone who had the chance to meet him. Hugs to you Bev. Mike and Carol
John was a great guy and I wish we had known him longer . May the family cherish the many great memories of a great guy
I am sorry to hear of Mr Clickners passing. He prepared me very well for college chemistry. I can still hear him saying in Earth Science that we needed to not slack off since "The information keeps coming and it doesn't stop". That saying still stays with me today and is applicable to my pharmacy career. I have to learn new information every week due to new meds coming on the market
I will miss John - he was one of the good guys. May he rest in peace.
Jim and I are so sorry to hear of John's passing, Bev. You and John were great neighbours and we enjoyed your friendship and conversations. John was well thought of in Sunkey and will be greatly missed by all who new him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Bev, at this very difficult time. Hugs, Jim and Sheila.
Ken and I enjoyed getting to know John at Sun Key. His positive outlook on life and its adventures was so apparent. He will be missed by so many.
Bev we are so sorry to hear of John's passing. Ed and I are keeping you in our prayers.
So sorry to hear of John passing. You were great neighbors and John and Wes always had interesting conversations! John had the respect of many people.
I was never lucky enough to be in his classroom. But, he left an impression on my daughter, who was very passionate about stones, rocks, geodes you name it. With just one interaction from an awesome human, lives are impacted. Love you uncle John
My deepest condolences to his family.
Mr. Clickner was a great man and one of the most influential teachers I ever had. His organization and love for what he did was something to be admired. When I was young and in his class I was admittedly not a great student. Mr. Clickner was very patient with me and I will never forget him telling me that sometimes subjects in school can be hard and a challenge. He told me that’s also how life is going to be at times. Sometimes you have to dig deep within yourself and get out of your comfort zone. Boy was he right.
I later got to substitute teach for him on a few occasions when I got out of college. The way he prepared his notes and his lesson plans were so meticulous. It really was something that stuck with me and how to prepare yourself for whatever you are doing on a day-to-day basis.
There were plenty more lessons along the way that he taught me and so many more of us OM students. Thank you Mr. Clickner for everything. You will be missed.
I had the privilege of being in Mr. Clickner’s class for both Earth Science and Chemistry. The subjects were tough, but he had this charm and very sharp wit that kept the students engaged. My sister and I reminisce about him from time to time, and we will continue to do so. Rest in peace, Mr. Clickner.
John was everything a teacher should be, knowledge of subject matter, organized, dedicated to the students - I enjoyed John's friendship - I express my condolence at the loss of a good man
