Blanche M. Collins, 87, formerly of Millport, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born in Powell, PA on October 4, 1933, the daughter of the late Norman and Lucretia (Hamilton) Herring. She graduated from Towanda Valley High School in 1951.
Blanche was Postmaster at the USPS office in Millport for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen and a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #426. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Thomas E. Collins in 2018, daughter-in-law, Patricia Collins on November 1, 2020, eleven siblings, and by her loving dogs, Missy and Princess.
She is survived by her daughters, Deb (T.J.) Riley, Katrina (Gary) Ector and Cindy (Rocky) Rumsey; sons, Thomas P. Collins, Steven R. (Janet) Collins, Joe (Julie) Collins and Tim (Wendy) Collins; sister-in-law, Sandra Collins; brother-in-law, Dave Talada; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen.
