Obituary of Jessie L. Ketter

Jessie Ketter, age 34, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away in her home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Jessie was born in Elmira, NY on June 14, 1986. Jessie had worked as a clerk in Watkins Glen and Reading Center Post Offices for the past 3 years. She had also worked at Schuyler Outreach in Watkins Glen for 14 years assisting many families and changing many lives for the better. She had a very big heart and was abundantly happy to be a part of the Schuyler County foster care system. She was over joyed to be raising a sweet little boy who had made her day, her week, her year, her life. She was an open advocate for foster parenting and encouraged many people to become foster parents. Just one day in the life of a kid could change their lives forever, is what she often said. Jessie is survived by her spouse Robert Holford, son Kayden, sister Jamie Ketter & Chewy Novak, brother, Jarrad and Nikitia Peters, parents, Michael and Melanie Peters and Kimber and Bill Hill, and nieces and nephews Cammi, Lucas, Sydney, Hudson, and Calvin.
