Obituary of Bonnie C. Eberhardt

Bonnie C. Eberhardt, 79, of Cayuta, NY, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019. Born in Montour Falls, NY on June 20, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice (Doane) Collins and was a graduate of Odessa-Montour High School. Bonnie was a homemaker, always caring for her family. She was a mother to many. Bonnie was a member of the Cayuta Free Church, where she at one time was organist and Sunday school teacher. She loved music, especially Elvis Presley, the Eagles, and the sound of wind chimes. She enjoyed camping, dice, chocolate, golf cart rides, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid baseball fan, especially the Yankees and Mets. Bonnie is survived by her children, Thomas (Diane) Eberhardt, Nellie Bea Eberhardt, Colleen Eberhardt, and Joseph (Robin) Eberhardt; daughter-in-law, Michelle Eberhardt; sister, Darlene Simpson; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Eberhardt in 2018, son, Todd Eberhardt in 2010, and by her brother, Robert Collins in 2018. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Cayuta Free Church, 1100 Conkrite Rd., Cayuta, NY 14824. Arrangements are under the direction of Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
