Obituary of Arthur L. Nelson

Arthur L. Nelson, 66, of Montour Falls, entered unto rest on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Schuyler Hospital. He was born in Elmira on August 10, 1952. He married Helen Nelson in February of 1992. She passed away in 2013. Mr. Nelson's favorite hobbies were spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and racing with his daughter and son-in-law. He enjoyed giving his daughter rides around Watkins Glen on his three wheel bike when she was a child. He is survived by his daughter, Faith Nelson of Watkins Glen; two sisters, Sharon Nelson of Watkins Glen and Shirley Duvall of Montour Falls; four grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Logan and Helen of Watkins Glen; and two nephews, Robert Chiacchiarini, Jr. of Watkins Glen and Brian Chiacchiarini of Mississippi. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Odessa Wesleyan Church, 304 Church St., Odessa, NY with a pot luck reception to follow. Please bring a dish to pass.
