Obituary of Ruth A. Timm

Ruth A Timm, 92, of State Route 329, Watkins Glen, NY died at home on Saturday August 19th. Ruth was born to Angeline and Walter Wenholz in Wood Lake MN on January 19th 1925. She graduated from business school in St. Paul MN in 1947 and from Cerritos College of Cerritos CA in 1973. Ruth worked in accounting until her retirement from Arnold Construction of Anaheim CA in 1991 at the age of 66. Her first husband, Glen St. Julien, passed in 1985 and Ruth married Howard Timm of Long Beach CA in 1990. She eventually settled in Spencer IA with her husband and remained there until his death in 2003. Ruth joined her son Dell St. Julien and family in Watkins Glen, NY in 2004 where she lived until her death. Her community service included membership in, and presidency of, a Soroptimist Club chapter in Southern California and leadership of the women's Bible study group at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Spencer IA. In New York, Ruth had attended the Odessa Baptist Church when able. Ruth is predeceased by her sisters Lucille Bahn and Betty Timm and survived by two sisters, Nona Anderson of Spicer MN and Constance Schrupp of Waverly IA, along with her brother Walter Wenholz of Minneapolis MN. She is also survived by three children, seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. These include Glenn St. Julien of Orange, CA and his wife Ivonne, Deborah St. Julien of San Jose CA with her husband Gary Coffrin and their two children Jessica and Claire, Dell St. Julien, his wife Nancy, and their five children, Rebecca St. Julien, with her husband Saadeh Saadeh and their two children Noura and Elias of Beirut Lebanon, Philip St. Julien with his wife Tammi (Lincoln) and their 4 children, Luke, Ryan, Eric, and Alex, of Erie PA, and Rachel, James, and Hannah St. Julien all currently of Watkins Glen, NY. Hannah, a senior at Watkins Glen HS, was "grandma's buddy" and constant companion. Memorial services and interment will be held in St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Wood Lake, MN.
