Obituary of Virginia D. Schneck

Virginia D. Schneck, 96, formerly of Elmira, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Franke) Dressler. She graduated from Southside High School, and attended college in Bristol, VA. She married Robert H. Schneck on February 22, 1947 in Elmira. He passed away on March 8, 2004. Virginia is survived by her son Richard Schneck of Elmira; granddaughter, Christy Strobel of Elmira; and great granddaughter, Lauren. In keeping with Virginia's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
