I knew Ken at Shepard Niles. He was a fun living guy to be around. My sincerest sympathy and thoughts are with the family. He will be missed by so many.

Very sorry to hear of Kens passing. I worked with Ken at Shepard Niles for many years and also bowled in the Thursday nite mens league in Watkins with him, later on, on the same team. He was a fun loving man with a quick wit. Once in a while I would see him on his tractor as I would pass by his home and would stop and catch up and talk about the old days at Shepards. He will be missed

I worked with Ken while he was at Gorbel. The most gentle, kind soul there was. I have to agree with others that he was a class act. A fine gentleman. His wit and intellect were unmatched. Whether it was at work or on the golf course (where his 2/3 rapid fire swing would fly straight down the fairway), he made your day better.

I wish heartfelt sympathy to his family and those that knew him.

I fondly remember my time working with Ken at Gorbel. He was a good man who always wanted to do the right thing and was always willing to help others (me). I can still hear his words "how can that be?" whenever a perplexing problem would arise. It became like an inside joke after a while and still brings a smile to my face today.

I got the privilege to work with him at Gorbel when we bought Shepherd Niles. He was the most gentleman I ever met. and sense of humor I just loved. I will never forget the saying every day he went by my desk it is 5 O'clock some where. It will remind me of him. Rest in Peace Ken. will think of you always.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ken when he started at Gorbel in 2002. Ken was such an incredible resource when it came to the Cleveland Tramrail product line. He knew (off the top of his head) every nuance and particular about the product.

A couple of years after he retired I was on a job site and faced with a problem that I had not experienced before. As much as I didn't want to bother Ken, I had to call him and ask for his help. It was like he had never left and he was able to walk me through what the issue probably was (and he was right). He never once hesitated to answer my questions or act like it was my issue not his because he was retired. That showed a lot of class.

My condolences to Ken's family and friends. He will definitely be missed.

I talked to Ken just a short few weeks ago, his warm smile and gentle demeanor intact. I had the privilege to work with Ken for many years up to his retirement 9 years ago. He will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.
