What a beautiful tribute to Bernadette. She is forever my sisterfriend. I will carry and honor her. She is a blessing and an angel. Her voice, her laughter, conversation, hugs , smile are forever. Whenever I had a chance to talk to her, we talked about our families, our children and grandchildren, her friends. She loved!! Her beauty, her heart and spirit is FOREVER!! Rest in Peace, Queen Bernadette!
I worker with Veney at Lansing. She was such a caring, sweet, person. There was not one staff the didn't love working with her. She was a team player and when you worked with her you knew thing were going to be ok. She was loved by every staff and girl. Veney you are going to be missed cause every time you enter a room your smile was like sunshine. Until we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I knew Bernie from work. She loved and cared for the children at Lansing as if they were her own. My thoughts and prayers to her family. Heaven has gained an angel.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bernadette's passing. I knew her from work and remember her as someone who was always cheerful and pleasant to be with. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I hope that the time comes soon when happy memories of time with Bernadette outweigh the grief you are feeling now.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this beautiful woman of God. I met Bernie and her siblings in 1973 at church under the loving ministry of Elder Lawford Baxter. Bernie was always a sweet kind gentle caring person. My sincere condolences to Rob and her children, Her father and siblings (Ronnie, Rosemary abs Sandra). Rest in peace Beloved.
My sympathies to the family of a very nice woman. I worked with Bernie at Lansing Residential Center for a number of years and I found her to be not only a very nice person, but a woman of integrity, grace, and dependability. I was very shocked just now (as I sit here in New Zealand) to learn of Bernie's passing via a Facebook post. She will be missed!
