Obituary of Donald Knop

Donald F. Knop, 88, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. He was born in Medina, NY on October 9, 1928, the son of the late William and Amy (Brigham) Knop. He graduated from Rochester Schools and later received his BA in Mechanical Engineering at RIT. He retired from Rochester Products, where he worked for over 30 years. Donald was a member of the Spencerport Bible Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping and hiking. He is survived by his daughters, Janice Knop of Newfield, NY and Linda Goodrich of Woodhaven, Michigan; and a sister, Ruth Brady of Greece, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Earl Knop. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Millville Cemetery on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls, NY.
