Obituary of Angelo Pangallo

Angelo A. Pangallo, age 83, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on January 25, 2012. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM. His funeral service will be held there following visitation at 2 PM. Interment in Seneca Union Cemetery, Valois, NY with full Military Honors. Mr. Pangallo is survived by his wife, Gloria; Children, Carmella (Ron) Hoffman, Angela (Craig) May and Pamela (Jason) Kelly; grandchildren, Nicole Hoffman (Adrian Turnmyre) Christina (Randy) Hoyt, Valerie (Shaun) Cannon, Jeremy Hoffman, Kenneth May (Mandy Martin), Gloria May (Dave Stigers), Joshua Cole (Jen Wilbur), Jessica Cole (Ryan Brown), Joel Kelly, Amy & Emily Kelly. Great great grandchildren, Taryn & Austin Hoyt, Margaret, Mackenzie, Braiden Cannon, Wesley Wade and Dominic Stigers, Laniah and Amiah Clayborn; sister-in-law, Dolly Pangallo and several special nieces and nephews. Mr. Pangallo is predeceased by his five brothers; four sisters and a great granddaughter Macelyn Hoyt and his parents, Frank & Mary Antoinette Schimizzi Pangallo. Mr. Pangallo retired from AKZO Salt Company, was a past member of the Watkins Glen Fire Department, active member of the Watkins Glen American Legion Post #555, Watkins Glen Elk's 1546 and enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and gardening.
