Obituary of Robert Rounds

Robert S. (Bob) Rounds, 54, of Montour Falls, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1961, the son of Paul W. and Suzanne Z. Rounds. Bob was a man of great integrity and faith. He was an excellent provider to his family. His favorite hobby was dirt bike riding. He loved nature and enjoyed hunting. He leaves a legacy of bow hunting skills to his grandchildren. Bob's life work was laying foundations in many of the surrounding counties, but his greatest foundation was his faith in Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen (Zimmer) Rounds; children, Amanda (Lance) of Elmira, and Jason of Millport; his mother, Suzanne Z. Rounds of Montour Falls; his siblings, Jeff (Jill) Rounds of Horseheads, Jill (John) Marsh, Beth Hornick, Michael (Beth) Rounds and Adam Rounds (Heather Diedrich) all of Montour Falls; grandchildren, Alexander, Jared, Kaylea and Jakob; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Paul W. Rounds in 2007. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 1-2 pm at the Bible Baptist Fellowship Church, 5950 County Route 14, Alpine. A celebration of Bob's life will follow at 2:00 pm. Private burial will be in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bible Baptist Fellowship Church, 5950 County Route 14, Alpine, NY 14805.
