Obituary of Betty Wyant

Wyant, Betty Age 88 formerly of Cayuta, NY passed away on Friday May 4, 2012 at Schulyer Skilled Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY. She was born on March 3, 1924 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Leroy and Sarah (Pope) Travis. Betty is predeceased by her first husband Robert Myers Sr., daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann & Arden Franklin, son-in-law, Ed Avery and brothers, Robert and Charles Travis. Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Harland Wyant of Canisteo, NY; her children, Robert Jr. & Lavon Myers, Leroy & Carla Myers, Janet Avery and Patricia & Richard Hoffman; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Doug & Marylee Wyant, Danny & Sue Wyant, Denny & Connie Wyant and Dawnne & Kurt Loper; 6 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many family friends. Betty enjoyed bingo, crafts, reading and playing cards. Family and friends are invited to call at the Vedder & Scott Funeral Home, 122 N.
