Obituary of Jack Roberts

Jack W. Roberts went home to be with the Lord and is at peace on August 4, 2013. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes to be dispersed over his beloved garden and lawn. Jack was born November 4, 1924 to John and Bertha Roberts. He lived his entire life in the Dundee/Watkins Glen area. He was a well driller for most of his life after working at Shephard Niles for a short time. Jack is survived by five daughters: Jacqueline, Jane, Jennifer, Jaimme and Joanne; two step-daughters Barbara (William) Bowen and Cheryl (Joe) Bixby; step-son Carter E. Anderson Jr.; sister Arlene Knapp and family; special niece Joyce DeSarno and family; grandsons Michael J. Wilkins and James J. Brewer; granddaughters Amy C. Brewer and Lindsay and Noelle Anderson; two great grandsons Michael J. and Joshua H. Wilkins; special friend Ruth and cats Goldie and Tomcat.
