Obituary of Kathleen A. Kasick

Kathleen A. Kasick, 72, of Herkimer, NY, and formerly of Corning and Watkins Glen, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 in Ilion, NY. She was born in Corning, NY on August 31, 1951 the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Rose M. (Bonady) Cannon.

Kathleen graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing. She was a Registerd Nurse, a chemist and also worked in the food industry. Kathleen had a love of all people she met. She loved laughing, dancing and was always up for an adventure.

She is survived by her son, Mark E I Doherty of Herkimer, NY; two sisters, Mary Buck of Corning, NY and Roseann Cannon Lawrenceville, GA; one grandchild, Mairin L. Doherty; and family friends-the Kelly family: Terri (Kevin) Rob, Nick, Jake (Lindsey) Zack, and Kate (Nathan) Miller. She was predeceased by her husband, James Kasick.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
