Obituary of Kay Parrotte

Parrotte, Kay N. (Webber) Age 73, passed away July 18, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Roy and Nena (Brown) Webber. She is survived by husband of 55 years Kenneth Parrotte, brother; Chester Webber, sisters; Virginia Osborn and Alison Wandell, brother-in-law; Carl Parrotte, sister-in-laws; Bernice Parrotte and Gene Kelley, children; Regina Davis (Don Soper), Cris Parrotte, Kelly Siglin, Pamela (Joey) Edwards, Brian (Eunju) Parrotte, Muriel Parrotte, Grandchildren; Kenneth Parrotte (DeAnne Yasenchak), Michael (Sherry) Parrotte, Jennifer and Cory Siglin, Sean and Ian Hoke, Tyler, Shane, and Chance Parrotte, Great Granddaughter; Alana Kay Parrotte, many nieces and nephews, and special friends Maggie Fitzpatrick-Covell and Beth Rounds, She was predeceased by her brothers; Doyle and Philip Webber, sisters; June Rowland, Beverly Fuller, Maureen Personius, and Shirley Peterson, brother-in-laws; George, Charles and James Parrotte, and sister-in-law; Eleanor Julian. Kay was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who possessed strong family values. She had high work ethics, a kind heart, was a loyal friend to many, caregiver to many pets throughout her life and an inspiration to anyone who knew her. She was described by a dear friend as: "she was a Mom that was "super-woman", she was also known as the "snack Lady" that will be so missed by anyone who shopped at Maphis' Grocery. She was the little lady with the wonderfully warm smile for everyone." Family and friends are invited to call at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls on Friday July 20th from 6:30-9:30 pm.
