Obituary of Gary R. Cooper

Gary R. Cooper, 65, of Odessa, NY passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at home. He was born in Elmira, NY on May 22, 1959 the son of Freeman and Eunice Cooper and graduated from Odessa-Montour Central School. Gary was a carpenter and worked in construction for many years.

Gary is survived by his son, Brett Cooper of Delaware; brother, Herbert (Wanda) Cooper of Alpine; uncle, Herb Bauman; very special friends, Scott and Susan Wardwell; and by many niece, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Bradley Cooper; his parents; and by his sisters, Cindy and Nancy.

A memorial service will be held for Gary on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY.
