Obituary of Joshua Haller

Joshua James Haller, 34, of Odessa, died unexpectedly at his home in Odessa, NY on the evening of April 21, 2024.

Born on January 8, 1990 in Pensacola, FL., he was the son of Mary (Haller) Johnson.
Josh was a brother, uncle, son, cousin, nephew, and dear friend to so many. The caliber of person that he was could never be accurately described in such few words. Anyone that met him left with a lasting impression and for those of us that knew him deeply, his memory will carry on with us for a lifetime. He brought so much goodness and love to the world in a way that only he could and without him the world will never be the same. We will carry on with what love we shared until we meet him again. Josh will always be loved.

Josh was a combat veteran that served in Afghanistan with B co 204th Engineer Battalion Army National Guard in 2008. He was a skilled sprinkler fitter with the Sprinklerfitters Local 669 U.A.. He also spent time as a volunteer firefighter. He loved working with his hands; woodworking, mechanic, you name it, from chainsaws to bull dozers he could fix it. He loved the outdoors, an avid gun collector and great marksman.
He is survived by his sister Tomeesha Haller, and brothers Anthony Haller, Shaun Johnson, Justin Johnson, and his loyal dog Weber.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents and mother Mary (Haller) Johnson.
