Alan always helped me at the counter.

He was really a very remarkable and pleasant person to be around. I'll miss Alan for sure.. RIP my friend and see you on the other side.

Alan was a bright light in this world. It was an honor to have shared a workplace with him. Condolences to all who knew him, loved him, and will miss him.

I walked into local NAPA stores more times than I could count over the years, and there was no one I was happier to see than Alan behind the counter. He greeted every customer with his terrific good nature and a smile, and knew how to fix what needed fixing, the parts that would be needed, and where to find them as fast as possible. He was always, always, knowledgeable and pleasant…a shining example of customer service at its finest. He truly was a gem!

I’m so sad to hear of Alan’s passing. A quiet kind person who will be missed by all of you. Peace and healing. Love to you all.

I remember Alan from high school. Many fond memories of the fun we had just driving around doing scavenger hunts. Enjoyed watching him play basketball throughout high school days. He was always kind. My prayers for his famiy

When I worked at NAPA stocking parts (1994-2000), I remember Alan well. An irritated customer would come into the store complaining about something. After talking to Alan, he would leave calmed and satisfied. Nobody in the store could deal with people better than Alan. He was great at public relations. He was also a very nice guy. Paul Gillette

Alan was always the "big brother" to we who are/were friends of his sister Wendy. He had the graciousness and kindness of his mother Eleanor. He had the strength and stalwartness of his father Cal. What a great human being. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Alan was a dear friend in high school. I used to see him at the Napa counter in Remsburg when I worked in that little town it was always a very thoughtful and kind man.

We are so very sorry! I remember an enormously kind, gentle good man.
