Obituary of Mildred Erlean Stacker-Hasty

Mildred Erlean Stacker-Hasty, age 75, of Corning, NY entered unto rest on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at The Corning Center.

Mildred was born in Manhattan, NY on May 25th, 1948, the daughter of the late McKinley and Bertha O.D. (House) Stacker, Jr. She graduated from Babylon High School and Farmingdale College. She married the late DeWitte Hasty in Babylon, NY in March of 1976. She worked as a Health Care Professional for 28 years before retiring in 1999.

Mildred is survived by three daughters, Noel Felton, Claudette Hasty, and Claudrene Hasty; two sons, Quinton-Alan B. Hasty, and Derrick D. Hasty; sister, Carol Slater?; brothers, Umeme (Jennifer) Stacker and McKinley "MacK" (Oneyda) Stacker; brother-in-law, LeRoy Jackson; a host of grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, cousins and other family members. In addition to her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband, DeWitte W. Hasty; son, Leonard W. Hasty; and sister, Linda Jackson.

Family and friends may call from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY 14865. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, Rev. Quinton-Alan Hasty officiating.
