Condolences
Although I didn't know your mom until her later years, the smile and love was always present. You are blessed to carry on her beauty and all of these wonderful memories. I am honored to have been in a few of the last pictures and she and I loved sharing our fondness of Hershey kisses! She watches over you all and what a joyful reunion there will be one day. Lisa
John, Doug, and Linda - I was very sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She lived a very wonderful life and was one of my favorite aunts. I will never forget the days as a kid that we had the opportunity to visit her and your dad. My sincerest condolences to all of you during this time. I’m sorry I can’t get back there for her funeral but my thoughts and prayers will be with you guys. My love to all of you. Cousin Tom Stamp
John, Doug and Linda, as someone who also grew up in Montour Falls, many memories came flooding back as I read your mom's obituary. She and your dad were both well known and well respected members of our wonderful community. John, you being the oldest, I remember you very well from our high school years in particular. You were always a really great guy! Whenever I'm in Montour these days, I like driving down Main Street and noting who lived in what house years ago...including your former home. It often brings a tear to my eye as I fondly recall those years so long ago. Your mom was blessed to live such a long life and to enjoy so many grandchildren and also great grandchildren. The Circle of Life was definitely in place as one of her great grandchildren was born on the same day that she passed...such a beautiful and comforting thing to have happen! Please know that I am thinking of you and sending you prayers and blessings as you make your way through this difficult time.

John, Doug and Linda, Please accept my deepest condolence for the loss of your mom. Growing up in Montour Falls was good time. Your mother and father were a big part of that . I remember being at your house several times. I enjoyed visiting with her when I delivered the newspaper. I would always send a card at various times when I had left MF for military and college.
Loved the Habbershaw family.
