John, Doug and Linda, as someone who also grew up in Montour Falls, many memories came flooding back as I read your mom's obituary. She and your dad were both well known and well respected members of our wonderful community. John, you being the oldest, I remember you very well from our high school years in particular. You were always a really great guy! Whenever I'm in Montour these days, I like driving down Main Street and noting who lived in what house years ago...including your former home. It often brings a tear to my eye as I fondly recall those years so long ago. Your mom was blessed to live such a long life and to enjoy so many grandchildren and also great grandchildren. The Circle of Life was definitely in place as one of her great grandchildren was born on the same day that she passed...such a beautiful and comforting thing to have happen! Please know that I am thinking of you and sending you prayers and blessings as you make your way through this difficult time.
