Obituary of Frances LaRow

Frances E. LaRow Born April 9, 1930 to John & Armenta Hogadorn on the family homestead passed away peacefully at St. Josephs Hospital on June 20, 2012 at 4:45 a.m. Frances found the love of her life when she was 25 yrs old. They courted for two years before becoming a happily married couple for forty-nine years. They resided in Cayuta, NY for their remaining years. They had five children together and made a house full of love and many happy memories. Frances worked at the Glen Eden Motel as a cleaning attendant for 20 plus years. She also was a daycare provider for many years, besides being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Frances was predeceased by her husband Sanford M. LaRow Sr. and her son Sanford M. LaRow Jr. She is survived by her children James (Jill) LaRow of Newfield, NY, Timothy J. LaRow of Cayuta, NY, Brenda L. Collins of Newfield, NY, Paul (Betty) LaRow of Cayuta, NY. Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive her. Her favorite things to do were to play cards, bowling, word puzzles and entertaining friends and family at her home for picnics and holidays. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 25th from 7-9 PM at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 26th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Please make all donations to Odessa Fire Department.
