Obituary of Daniel W. Impson

Daniel W. Impson, age 74, of Beaver Dams, NY passed away Friday, August 25^th, 2023 at home.

Daniel was born in Montour Falls on October 30^th, 1948, to the late Maynard A. and Irene M. (Harrington) Impson.  He married Darlene Dunbar on June 24^th, 2000 in the Town of Catlin, NY.  He worked for Shepard-Nile and 5 Star Bank.  He enjoyed classic cars, car shows, mechanics, cats, fishing, traveling, photography, but above all he enjoyed his family.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 23 years, Darlene; daughter, Angela McFall; sons, Chris (Lori) Impson, Jamie (Shannon) West and Kevin (Robin) West; Twelve Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; his brother, Edward Impson; one niece, one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and family may call from 4pm to 5pm on Wednesday, August 30^th, 2023 at Vedder Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY 14865.  His funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 5pm.  Burial will be at Beaver Dams Cemetery in Beaver Dams, NY on Thursday, August 31^st, 2023 at 11am.  Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Schuyler County, 124 Marina Dr., Montour Falls, NY 14865.  Memories of Daniel may be shared with his family and friends at vedderscottzinger.com
