Obituary of Richard P. Berry

Richard Patrick Berry, 38, of Tyrone, New York entered unto rest on Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 18, 1984 in Montour Falls, New York, to Linda Sue Rumsey and Bobby Lee Eaves. Richard attended Dundee Central School. He was a believer in God. He was passionate about being a volunteer groundskeeper at the 1819 Red Brick Inn. He loved his motorcycle, tattoos, helping his brother and collecting knives. He enjoyed spending time with his dearly loved family, whom he told often and his best friend and furry companion, Sally. Surviving Richard are his mother, Linda Rumsey of Tyrone; two sisters, Heather (Joseph)Rexford of Dundee, and Tasha West of Tyrone; brother, John Leiter of Dundee; grandmother Doris Rumsey of Tyrone; fourteen nieces and nephews along with several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Bobby and grandfather, Howard Rumsey. ROMANS 8:18 "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later."
