Obituary of Rebecca S. Clark

Rebecca “Becky” S. Clark, age 65, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Saturday June 17, 2023 after a series of unfortunate events with multiple illnesses. Becky leaves behind a badass daughter, Beth A. Clark of Montour Falls, NY, whom she raised to be as strong as her, as compassionate as her, and as independent as her. Becky also leaves behind an extensive trail of lives that she had a positive impact on during her lifetime. She cared deeply and spent her life dedicated to helping others, sometimes to a fault. She loved fishing, camping, skinny dipping, rock collecting, and metal detecting. Becky was predeceased by her longtime loving partner in crime Brenda J. Cotterill, and her parents Gerald S. and Betty J. Clark. She is survived by her son-in-law, Chuck Luppe of Montour Falls NY; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Debbie Clark of Burdett, NY; sister, Pam Lott of Hector, NY; nephews, Doug Lott of Odessa, NY and Dustin Lott of Lodi, NY; as well as multiple great nieces and nephews both related and inherited. Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 2, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. at the Mechanics Club, 237 W. Main St., Montour Falls. A celebration of life will start at 5:00 pm. Becky turned 65 this year but was unable to have the party she deserved. Guests attending the celebration of life are requested to wear at least one of the following colors: blue, purple, or green. If you have pictures of Becky, please also bring a copy of your favorite picture and your favorite stories of her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to any social service charity that helps those in need, or take a loved one fishing.
