Condolences
I'm so sad hearing about Harold's death. He was my mechanic for many years and always went above and beyond (ie cleaning the interior) while repairing my car. More important, I felt he was a friend and good man. I will miss him.
The first time I dropped my car off to Harold we did a shot of whiskey together before I biked home, we hit it off instantly. By the last time I dropped my car off, we were dear friends.
Harold was a big and bright soul. My deepest condolences to Fran, Michelle, the entire family, and all of you that were lucky enough to call him a friend.
Harold was much more than our "car guy," he was a friend. We will miss him terribly. Many prayers to Fran.
Fran, Michell

Over 20 years ago, Shonty found a great mechanic who turned out to be a great friend. I was lucky enough to know Harold for the past 12 years, and he was a truly wonderful guy. It was never just dropping off or picking up a vehicle. It was time spent catching up, talking smack, laughing at inappropriate jokes, and drinking Labatt Blue. Harold was one of a kind and always had a grin on his face. Looking at his smiling photo brings both joy and deep sadness to our hearts. The garage was a meeting place where people gathered and shared friendship. The loss of Harold is a deep loss to Frances and family, and the entire community.
Hard to find the words to express how much I cherish Harald. The laughter, the talking smack, the care he took with keeping our vehicles safe. He would tell me as I was leaving, “You behave yourself.” I would reply, “No” and he would laugh out loud, Every Time. Frances, Shelley, Mack, I am a phone call away if you need anything, anytime.
We are so sorry for your loss and we will pray for your family and friends

My Uncle Harold was a wonderful man. He loved people. He loved to get a reaction from most. He was a great race car driver. He loved and respected his wife. He also had a big heart. I will miss stopping in at the garage and talking about cars, family and years past. I will remember the days he came to visit and took me upside down to the bathroom to put my head in the toilet. Uncle Harold lived, loved and embraced life. I will miss him:))))))))))))
To Harold's family and friends, sending heartfelt sympathy, caring thoughts and prayers too. So sad to hear of his passing. God bless all of you. Cheers to one of the good guys. RIP Harold.
Words are hard. When you called, I was too stunned to talk. I will miss him so much. I will miss the sandwich and soup lunches. He was more than a friend to me. If you need anything, let me know.
He will be missed at Kopykat Kollections n Redemptions. He loved to hang a bit and joke around while we counted his cans! I remember his first couple trips, he would wait for us to count and then he pull his piece of paper out of his shirt pocket to see how accurate we were! We passed… he came regularly thereafter! Thoughts and prayers are with the family!
Harold and I rubbed fenders at a lot of race tracks! Harold was a great guy! Will be missed.
Frannie, I was shocked to hear of Harolds passing. He was 1 of a kind and my friend for 40 plus years. I will try to make the memorial this summer.......RIP Maynard
I was so sorry to read of Harold's passing Frannie. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
There must be a car in heaven that needs to be fixed or story that needs to be told. Harold was the best at both of those skills.
I'm going to really miss my visits and chats.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
