Obituary of Dale A. Reynolds

Dale A. Reynolds, age 70, of Odessa, NY passed away on September 26, 2022 at Seneca View Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. Dale was born the son of Gilbert R. and Joyce L. Reynolds on January 6 1952 in Elmira, NY. He was a lifelong resident of Odessa, NY graduating from Odessa Montour Central School in 1970 and Alfred State College in 1972. He owned and operated Reynolds Logging & Lumber Company for 40 years until his retirement in 2012. Dale enjoyed building things in his shop, whether it was a log truck or a piece of furniture from wood sawed from his sawmill, he took pride in what he created. Until health issues slowed him down you could find him at the local restaurants having coffee with his friends or at the local speedways on Friday and Saturday nights watching the races. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Mari Lynn Appel Reynolds; sons Brett (Brenda), Benny (Jeanne Ruggles), daughter, Stephanie (Scott Duntley); Four grandchildren, Caleb, Cara, Jessa and Cassidy; His brothers, Douglas (Diane) and Dudley Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by both parents. Per Dale's wishes there will be no calling hours. A private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family at Highland Cemetery, Odessa, NY.
