Final Resting Place
Condolences
I so enjoyed her! Her wit, warmth, interest in many things, love of books, and hearty laugh reminded me of my Mom.Hugs to you all!

Shirley was one of the sweetest persons we have known. She always had a smile, and seemed to enjoy life to its fullest.
I was on the OMCS faculty when Shirley worked in the library. She always had a smile and could cheer me up on the worst day. Everybody loved her. I extend my condolences to her family, she was a great lady and will be missed.
Heaven is a little bit brighter with the twinkle in her eyes and the smile on her face - but we are certainly going to miss you Mrs C. I know you will be there to greet the rest of us when it is our turn, but in the meantime, enjoy being back with John and your boys. I know you will be watching over all who remain here. We are better for having had you in our lives.
It's very sad to lose such a nice lady from our world, I remember her as we were growing up on Henry Street. We spent lots of our time playing hide and seek, kick the can, and loads of other fun games down by her house. Then she blessed us at school in the library with her beautiful smile, which just puts a smile on your face. Years later as I walked my dog at the dike by her house, we would stop when we saw her and John working in the yard and have a nice talk. I have missed that opportunity since she fell ill. She will remain a happy place in all our hearts until we meet again...She will be missed by all who knew her...
