Condolences
I have fond memories of Doug from our childhood in Alpine. He was a good person! Whenever he happened to be in the County Building in Watkins Glen, he would always stop in and chat with me at my office. My thoughts and prayers are with his family (especially Connie) during this difficult time. Rest in peace my friend.
Douglas was a good nephew. He enjoyed fishing & camping. My wife & I used to go to breakfast with Doug which we really enjoyed & we talked about the old times. He was a jokester. I'll miss my little buddy. Uncle Mike
Doug could be a real pain in the ass; but he could also be kind, considerate & caring. He was funny & witty & intelligent even though he pretended not to be. The most surprising thing I found out about him was that he was a pretty talented artist & painted some beautiful oil paintings. I will miss him. Polly
