Obituary of Robert Cummings

Robert "Bruce" Cummings, III, 39, of Watkins Glen, NY died unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 4, 2022. Bruce was born in Ithaca, NY on April 14, 1983, the son of Laura (Brown) Couch and Robert Cummings, Jr. Bruce was an active boy growing up. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, camping, fishing, and creating his own recipes. Bruce had a big heart, and was kind to everyone he met. His greatest achievement in life was his daughter, Jasmine. Sadly, his adult life left him with demons he was unable to overcome. His family and friends will remember him smiling, happy, and knowing he's finally at peace. Bruce is survived by his daughter, Jasmine Cummings; mother and step father, Laura and Joseph Couch; brother, Jeffrey Cummings; step siblings, Neil, Breana, Megan, Justin and Brett; his devoted grandmother, Beatrice Brown; special uncle, Joe Brown; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. A celebration of Bruce's life will be planned at a later date. Contributions may be made in Bruce's memory to the VA or to the Humane Society of Schuyler County.
