Obituary of Erik Franzese

Franzese, Erik J. age 29 of Lowman, NY passed away at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Erik is survived by his Mother: Debra (Brent) Andrews of Lowman, NY, Father: Stephen (Sue) Franzese of Newark Valley, NY. Fiancé: Sarah Monell of Lowman, NY. Grandmother, Helen E. Conkright of Lowman, NY, Grandfather: Albert A. Franzese of Watkins Glen, NY and Special Great Aunt: Ellen Hulslander of New Port Richie, FL. He is also survived by: Stepbrothers, Steven McCall (Jenn), Cameron Andrews (Carissa) and Colby Andrews. Stepsister: Carrie Andrews along with numerous loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, a Niece and many Friends. Erik is also predeceased by his grandfather, John L. "Beebop" Conkright, Grandmother, Dorothy M. Franzese and Stepbrother, T-Jay McCall. Erik was born on August 16, 1982 in Rochester, NY and served as a Combat Medic in the US Army and served in Iraq from 2004-05. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports and loved music. Erik was a member of the American Legion and VFW of Owego, NY. Erik was also employed with Falcon Technology Incorporated of Horseheads, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM. His funeral service will be held there on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Reading Center, NY where full Military Honor's will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veteran's, 434 Garrison Place, Elmira, NY 14903 in Erik's name.
