Obituary of Theodore H. Siri

Theodore H. Siri Jr., Ted, age 78 of Watkins Glen, NY, after a long and courageous battle of 22 years, passed away peacefully at his son's home in Utah with his family by his side on December 18, 2021. Ted was born in San Francisco on December 5, 1943 to the late Ted and Louise Siri, who then raised him in Santa Rosa, CA. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School and he then moved to Ukiah, CA where he joined the Local #3 Operating Engineers where he worked for Absco Paving & Parnum Paving. During this time he also joined the National Guard for seven years. He decided to become an antique dealer and moved to Watkins Glen, NY where he became a successful store owner of The Teddy Bears Den, an antique, souvenir, and the largest NASCAR store on the East coast for 22 years. Ted stayed an antique dealer until his passing. Ted was also a member of the Northwestern Bottle Collectors Association for 50 years and built the best San Francisco Antique Beer Bottle Collection on the West Coast. Ted loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, NASCAR, dirt track racing on Friday nights and his passion antiques. Ted is survived by his loving family, his wife of 22 years Theresa Siri, three sons Ted (Tonya) Siri and Garrett Siri of Highland, Utah, Tyler Siri of Horseheads, NY, brother Richard (Bev) Siri and sister Arleen Place of Santa Rosa, CA., eight grandchildren, Jordan(Stephanie), Mykenna(Kyle), Taylor(Paul), J.T., Braden, Nick, Lauren, & Maya; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many friends both in California and New York. There will be a graveside service for Ted on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Montour Cemetery, (Upper Entrance) Mill St., Montour Falls. A celebration of Ted's life will immediately follow at Kookalaroc's Bar and Grill in Watkins Glen.
