Obituary of Sharon M. Post

Sharon M. Post, 77, of Burdett, NY passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at home. She was born in Carbondale, PA on February 12, 1944, the daughter of the late Michael and Mabel (Cole) Kindle. Sharon worked at the Montour Pharmacy for over 30 years. She also worked for S.P. Wilson. Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always available to anyone who needed her without question. Her never ending love and support will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Michael Post; brothers, Michael and Jim Kindle; sisters, Pat Daily, Frances Moore and Donna Wayland. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Jim) Meckley of Watkins Glen; sons, David Post and Stephen Post, Sr. (Tammy) both of Burdett; sister, Lucille Hessling of Montour Falls; brother, D. Scott Kindle of Washington State; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her dogs, Elmo and Jake; and her cat, Shirley Feeney. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
