Obituary of Baldassare Mannino

Baldassare (Baldo) Mannino passed away at the age of 31 years old on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was a talented young man and a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Giovanni and Mariella, as well as his brothers, Clemente and Federico. His dog, Tyson, will also miss him and his walks dearly. Baldo era un gran lavoratore. Aveva un gran cuore ,ed era molto sensibile ,avvolte un po' caparbio. Ma era un ragazzo con un gran talento, educato e aveva rispetto per le persone. Gli piaceva lavorare all'aria aperta, amava tanto la campagna e la natura. Per chi lo ha conosciuto, era un ragazzo adorabile. Baldo was interested in history, particularly of the United States. He also liked mathematics and English and "studied" them just to learn more than he already knew. He was his own version of Einstein! He enjoyed reading, but only if the book was about a topic that interested him! Baldo loved his family (including his dog Tyson), and anything to do with agriculture. His dream was to soon be able to have his own land that he could cultivate and start an organic farm to table business, and also start his own family. He was sensitive, caring and intellectual. His heart was huge and so was his personality and infectious smile. When Baldo laughed it was almost impossible to keep from laughing as well. He had a way of spreading joy, even if it wasn't intentional, and even if you were not feeling particularly joyful! Blowing you a thousand kisses back Baldo! You will be forever missed and remembered! A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Burial will follow in Montour Cemetery.
