Obituary of Otto K. Welzel

Otto Welzel of Lamoka Lake passed away peacefully at home on September 18th, 2023 at the age of 87. Otto was born in Corning, NY on March 30th, 1936 to the late Otto and Mary Kosty Welzel. He is survived by his son, Jay Welzel of Osceola, PA. Otto served in the US Army and retired from Steuben County Dept. of Social Services. He was a graduate of SUNY Oswego and Alfred State University. Otto lived a quiet-simple life on Lamoka Lake for over 40 years. As per his request there will be no calling hours and a he will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning, NY.
