Obituary of Celia E. Scott

Celia (Cole) Scott, 93, of Montour Falls, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Montour Falls on March 23, 1926, the daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes Cole. Celia enjoyed crossword puzzles, NASCAR, long rides, and eating out. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip; two brothers, Clifford and Albert Cole; and by one sister, Loretta Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Ridley of Watkins Glen and Doreen and Ralph Wilson of Elko, GA; two sons, David and Betty Scott of Montour Falls, and Matt and Robin Scott of Watkins Glen; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Montour Cemetery in the spring at a date and time to be announced. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Vedder and Scott Funeral Home in Montour Falls.
