Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Koch

Elizabeth Jean Koch, 90, of Enfield, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Evergreen House in Jacksonville, NY. She was born in Rome, New York on April 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Floyd R. Smith and Anna (Evenden) Smith. Mrs. Koch retired as Postmaster of the Lee Center Post Office in Lee Center, NY. She was a member of the Jacksonville Community United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society, and enjoyed genealogy. She is survived by two sons, Paul Koch of Webster, FL, and David (Lisa) MacLeod of Enfield; four grandchildren; a great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Koch on May 5, 2006, and by her sister, Dorothy Scott on May 1, 2001. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Valley Home Cemetery in Windham, PA.
