Obituary of Roger Kelley

Roger D. Kelley, 60, of Montour Falls, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Schuyler Hospital. He was born in Montour Falls on June 24, 1956, the son of the Donald L. and Florence (Mosher) Kelley. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and was employed with Cornell University for twenty years. He was a member of the Montour Moose Lodge #426. Roger enjoyed playing cards, hunting, and watching the birds and squirrels. He was a big fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt. He especially enjoyed Sunday Coffee Club with the girls. He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Kelley of Elmira; sister and brothers, Marlene (Jim) Rockwell of Montour Falls, Kevin (Karen) Kelley of Burdett, Robert (Charlotte) Mosher, Sr., of Millport, and Harold Mosher of Burdett; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother, Wayne Mosher. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A service celebrating his life will begin at 5:00 pm followed by burial at Union Cemetery of Hector.
