Obituary of Margaret Mack

Margaret (Ayers) Mack, 58, of Montour Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born in Montour Falls on April 29, 1956, the daughter of Harold and Marian (Tice) Ayers, Sr., and graduated from Watkins Glen High School. On July 2, 1977, she married Francis Mack at the Watkins Glen United Methodist Church. Margaret loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, quilting, spending time with family and friends, and helping others. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Ayers. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Francis; daughter, Kristen Mack of Painted Post; son, Mark (Stephanie) Mack of Millport; her mother, Marian Ayers of Reading Center; three sisters, Ruth Ann Mustafa and Loretta Ayers of Watkins Glen and Lorraine Mothershed of Elmira; brother, Harold Ayers of Watkins Glen; two grandchildren, Athen and Tagen; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 3-4 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A service will follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in the spring at Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading Center.
