Obituary of L. Claude Cole

L. Claude Cole, 88, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at home surrounded by family and friends. Claude was born on July 31, 1937 in Montour Falls, NY, the son of Lewis and Dora (Baxter) Cole. He graduated from Odessa-Montour Central School in 1955 and was later inducted into the OMCS Hall of Fame. Claude served with the US Army for three years and went on to work at Shepard-Niles for over 45 years. Claude enjoyed sports of all kind: especially golf and bowling. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, having spent great times traveling together; children, David (Debbie St. Onge) Cole and Jeff (Cindy) Cole; stepchildren, Lisa Larose and Marcus (Cathy) Larose; grandchildren, Tim (Taylor) (Erin) Cole, Kayla (Alex) Tudor, Kristen (Zack) Wolfgang, Tyrus Cole, Tyler, Ashley, Mason and Emily Cole, Shane Harding, Tyler Twardeski and Jordan Willie Larose; and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Connie (Allen) Bulkley. Claude enjoyed all of the girls, guys and doctors at CMC Oncology. Thanks for making his time there fun. Also, a special thanks to CareFirst for all you do! There will be no services at this time but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
