Obituary of Ransome G. Davis, Sr.

Ransome Gary Davis, Sr., age 63, of Odessa, NY, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025. Ransome was born on April 21, 1961 to the late Walter and Isabella (Landon) Davis, Sr.

Ransome is predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Bethanie (Facey) Davis; brothers, Walter Davis, Jr., Louis Davis, Dana Davis, John Davis, Sr., and David Davis; sisters, Sandy Davis and Carol (Davis) Kinner; and a great-grandchild, Temperance Force.

He is survived by his daughter, Candy (Davis ) Green; his son, Ransome Davis, Jr.; brothers, Harry Davis and Dale Davis; sisters, Diane (Davis) Carnes, Cynthia (Davis) Miller, and Rebecca (Davis) Johnston; grandson Devon Force; granddaughters, Jordan Force, Alyssa Force and Brittanie Davis; great-grandsons, Gibson Force and Isaiah Johnson; great-granddaughters, Bethanie Force and Iris Hoffman; lifelong best friend, Duff Terry; and girlfriend, Anita Solvey; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Ransome was an amazing person. Outside of his work as a forklift operator, he enjoyed music, dancing, and traveling. He was truly living his 'best life' when sitting around a bonfire with his best friend Duffy, listening to music and drinking a beer.
