Obituary of Roxann Lewis

Roxann Lewis, age 88, from Montour Falls, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 21, 1937, she was a woman who embraced life with an open heart, always finding joy in the little things and sharing warmth through her unforgettable hugs.

Roxann dedicated much of her career to Guild Brothers before retiring as the office manager at Famous Brands—a job she loved so much that she returned part-time during her retirement. Beyond her professional life, her greatest joy came from the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and family. In her final year, she cherished nothing more than being "Nana," a role that brought her immeasurable happiness.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Irene Bovaird; and her beloved son, Billy Lewis. She is survived by her devoted family, including her siblings, Bill Bovaird (Mary), Edward Bovaird (Cheryl), and Julie Boyce (Fred, deceased); her children, Jodi Blaha (Jeff) and James Lewis (Rachel); her grandchildren, Carissa Spaccio (Dom), Jessica Blaha Harrington (Derick), Jeffrey Blaha (Kala), and Jennifer Tripp (Jay); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Roxann touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
