Condolences
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family Lisa.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. Kevin was a lifelong friend, and our bond, which began in 9th grade at Dewitt Jr. High, remained strong through decades of shared laughter (often inspired by SCTV skits), deep conversations, and memorable drives in his restored 1962 Ford Galaxy. His humor, curiosity, and creativity were unparalleled—whether restoring vintage treasures, playing drums, or enjoying time with friends. Kevin will be forever known as our official school archivist, frequently posting photo memory treasures of our genesis at Dewitt, IHS, ACS, and beyond. Kevin's genuine spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. I will forever cherish our countless hours together and keep his memory close.
I worked with Kevin for over 10 years. I could always count on Kevin when I had an IT problem. He was so kind, intelligent and funny! I am sorry to hear of his passing.
I knew Kevin in High School, he was brilliant, humorous & kind, a very talented musician. He waa adored. Memories of him are a blessing.
I am so sorry about Kevin's passing. Kevin and I worked together in the IT Department for 21 years at SUNY Brockport. He was a wonderful person that I looked forward to seeing everyday. I enjoyed our many conversations on endless topics. Kevin was such a generous, special person and he cared so much about his coworkers. He inspired me and made me a better person. I will truly miss Kevin. May the many memories you all shared comfort you during these difficult times. Jane Ferris

Growing up in Ithaca was for most of us and idyllic exciting and creative environment. When I met Kevin Dunn in my sophomore year of high school we were both a part of a group of very loving, curious and creative individuals.
Kevin was the first person in my life that really challenged me to take a deeper dive into music and comedy but not in a arrogant way at all it was more of an invitation to expand my horizons and recognize the nuances and individualized beats and rhythms of visual and musical artists.
In the short time that we were in the same clique, soph-senior year 1980-1983 Kevin Kevin said a foundation and expectation of the kind of people that I would collaborate with for the rest of my life.
I am truly truly grateful that I met Kevin and allowed myself to be influenced by Kevin because I carried his lessons and his love in my back pocket all of the years that I pursued, creative endeavors and thanks to Kevin. I was able to develop a sense of individuals that were truly “cool”
One of the greatest moments in my life was watching Kevin and his band play out at the Ithaca Festival in 1983, I think I got to be a roadie for that show because my dad had a pretty bitching Chevy blazer.
Enjoy the universe, Kevin I’m sure you will have a wonderful time exploring all of its nooks and crannies.
Lisa and family,
We were saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. He has been in our daily prayers and know what a difficult fight he had dealing with ALS. His kind and soft demeanor will live on along with your cherished memories. We will miss him in the neighborhood.

Donation sent in memory of Kevin to the ALS Association. Our dear Kevin was too young to leave us and we will miss him dearly. Sending Lisa, Tom, Uncle Jim and the rest of the family lots of love and hugs, cousin Trish
My sincerest sympathy for Lisa, and Kevins family.
I first met Kev in the early 90's while we worked together at the Strong Museum. We soon discovered we had many similar interests, and became lifelong friends.
Kev was an incredably generous person, always willing to help out with a car repair, or treat for a nice dinner. But just hanging out with Kev, was an enjoyable experience.
What happened to Kev was a serious miss justice of lifes fate. But he was always positive, despite the cruel cards he was dealt.
I always told Kev he was a way better friend too me than I was for him. I will miss my good friend, as everyone who knew him will.
The heavens have added a new drummer. And each time we search the sky, it won't be difficult seeing his smiling face.
Thanks for always being there Kev.
Love you buddy.
Stephen Hibbs
It has been such a pleasure and honor to take care of such a wonderful, grateful man. I loved sharing my stories of my trips and getting his opinion of where to stop if he had been there he is forever missed friendship 1 East.
